I remember times when marketing of a product was exclusive to some. how many times had I asked myself, “OK. I have a product. How do i market it?”. Cost of marketing just prohibited the idea. Those days, 5% of people made 95% of the money. Then years late came MLM. Wow. What a concept. Believe, determination and as Art said, ”just do it”. Thirty years later, 6% of people make 95% of the money. Really, nothing has changed. Still decisive majority buys, pays, recruits in a hope to become the 5% of beneficiaries. and in spite of the fact that by law income statements have to be presented to a potential participants, nobody reads them. the “believe, determination and as Art said; just do it” factor is the dominating force today. in fact, this alone together with the free advertising on social networking, ”viral” marketing promises and subsequent false security when talking about the numbers, blinded people completely. nobody reads anymore anything. the due diligent part of any business decision is gone for ever. now everybody sells. product. ideas. help, how to. the last ones (millions) finally had and idea, that, who cares about the product, who cares about the pay plan, nobody. and they figured out how to make more money by selling “how to”. and they are the determined believers and they just do it. and do it, and do it, as the definition of insanity never existed.
