H2O v. Common Sense

Couple of day ago one of my FB friends sent me an informative article titled “Are Sports Drinks Safe For Your Kids?”(1) by Donna Partow the Christian Author and Speaker. My cyber friend merely pass it on to me without making any enticing comments for me to read it. Granted, she and I are involve in the Efusjon energy drink club, and that alone would attract me enough to read it, notwithstanding that the article was written by Donna Partow, board certified Family Practice and Sports Medicine Physician for over 20 years, at the Olympic, professional, collegiate and high school levels. To my astonishment not only does she mention of the Efusjon energy drink as the best on the market, but it turns out, that she is a Efusjon club member too. It is not an endorsement, it is a testimonial, period. I was so impressed with this article, that I decided to copy/paste it to share this with my friends. As anticipated in such matters, the article i am sure was red, but due to its nature, the readers decide not post any comments. except this one, that prompted this blog “H2O v. common sense”. The comment was simple and to the point; “H2O is far better for children”. Now, this is a direct challenge that I am happy to retort, using just a common sense.
As we all know H2O does exists only in a laboratory environment, so my guess is that we are talking about a drinking water. I used to drink a lot of it until i checked the nutrition facts label (of any drinking battled water on the market). You are absolutely right. There is nothing in it. How could nothing can be harmful. But, wait there is more, the ingredients. Lets look and defined them from the health point of view.
1. Purified water. – Purified water is water from any source that is physically processed to remove impurities. Distilled water and deionized water have been the most common forms of purified water………………………………….
2. Potassium bicarbonate. -

5. Sodium Chloride,- I am to terrified to copy/paste it. You are welcome to google it for yourself.

6. Magnesium oxide,-

Magnesium oxide side effects

Stop taking magnesium oxide and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).

Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take magnesium oxide and talk to your doctor if you experience diarrhea or an upset stomach.

We may all come to a conclusion that most of it is just a legal jargon. After all, today’s law suites are not about poising somebody or even a wrongful death, it is about the lack of disclosure. But is it really?. What ever it is, H2O or energy drinks, when it come to health issues, a common sense is the one that should rule it all. I shall leave this at your mercy.
